Best4.me is operated by Algoclick Limited (company number: 13263206, registered office: C/O Tax Advisory Partnership, 14 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YT, United Kingdom) ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we process when you visit Best4.me, why we process it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, measure our advertising and get paid by the partners we recommend.
1. Information we process
- Visit records: the pages you view, the date and time, the referring page, your browser and device type, your language, and your approximate country and region (derived from your IP address using an offline database). For visitors in places where the law requires prior consent (see "Your choices") who have not consented, we store only a shortened IP address and limited browser details.
- Advertising click ID: if you arrive from a Google or Microsoft (Bing) ad, the click identifier (GCLID or MSCLKID) that the ad network adds to the link, so we can tell which ads led to visits and purchases.
- Visitor ID: a random identifier used to connect your visit to a click on one of our partner offers. Where prior consent is required, it is not stored on your device before you choose: it is only added to the links you click on our site and is valid for 3 hours. If you click "Accept", it is also kept in a cookie.
- Your choices: whether you accepted or rejected cookies, and any "Do Not Sell or Share" request or Global Privacy Control signal.
We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details, and there are no third-party analytics or advertising scripts on our pages.
2. How we use it
- To run, secure and improve Best4.me, including detecting fraudulent or automated traffic.
- To show the site in your language and the privacy options that apply where you are.
- To measure how our advertising performs by reporting conversions to Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
- To match purchases made through our partner links with the commission we are owed.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the visitor ID cookie and for using your data to measure advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time. We rely on our legitimate interests for minimal, privacy-reduced visit records that keep the site secure and working, and for the short-lived visitor ID carried in links, which lets partners pay us for the sales we refer.
4. Sharing
- Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising: when a visit that started from one of their ads leads to a purchase, we send that ad network the click ID and the time and value of the conversion (to Google also your consent status). Where prior consent is required, we only do this after you click "Accept"; if you reject cookies or do not answer, nothing is sent.
- Partners: when you click an offer, we pass the partner a random reference number so they can attribute the sale to us. We do not pass your name or contact details.
- Service providers: companies that host and secure our servers, acting on our instructions.
- Legal reasons: where required by law, or to protect our rights and users, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some US state laws treat sharing data for advertising as a "sale" or "sharing"; you can opt out as described below.

Before you accept cookies, the visitor ID is not stored on your device: it is added to the address of the pages you open from our links and expires after 3 hours.
Partner websites you visit after clicking an offer use their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
6. Your choices
- Where prior consent is required (the EU and EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Brazil, South Korea, Quebec, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam and Nigeria): nothing optional is stored until you choose. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

8. Retention and security
We keep visit records only for as long as they are needed for the purposes above, such as matching commissions with partners (which can take several months) and preventing fraud. Records are stored on secured servers with restricted access.
9. International transfers
Our servers and some of our partners may be located outside your country. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
10. Children
Best4.me is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
